Crown Point revolves around its historic downtown square, anchored by the iconic 1878 Lake County Courthouse known locally as the "Grand Old Lady." While Crown Point does not have a train station within city limits, rail commuters often drive 20 to 25 minutes north to catch the South Shore Line into Millennium Station.
