Crystal Lawns, IL

Crystal Lawns is an unincorporated Will County census-designated place tucked near the northwest corner of Joliet, with 1,830 residents in the 2020 census. Its practical map is all about edges: the community sits southeast of Louis Joliet Mall, close to Joliet's northern roads and the larger regional shopping network. The old Crystal Lawns golf course is gone, but its decayed clubhouse still stands as a local reminder of what occupied the land before today's homes.
