About Cutchogue
Cutchogue is a historic hamlet and census-designated place on the North Fork of Long Island, in the town of Southold, New York. Derived from an Algonquin term meaning principal place, the community of approximately 2,800 is home to Fort Corchaug, a seventeenth-century Native American settlement designated a National Historic Landmark. The agricultural village features the historic Wickham's Fruit Farm and is served by the Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District.
