About Dallas

Located just north of Gastonia and about 40 minutes west of Charlotte, Dallas is a quiet Gaston County town with roughly 6,000 residents. It originally served as the county seat in the nineteenth century, and that historic character is still easy to see today. The town square remains the heart of the community, anchored by the handsome old brick courthouse that now serves as town hall, along with well-kept historic homes lining the surrounding streets.
