About Dana

Dana is a town in Helt Township, Vermillion County, Indiana, United States. The 2020 census counted 555 residents. Dana is primarily a farming community. The town was named for Charles Dana, a railroad promoter. In late 2020, The Tribune-Star reported that Dana is planning a downtown community center that would serve as a hub for resident services and programming for children, families, and senior adults.
