Dayton, TX

Dayton is a city in Liberty County, Texas, situated just west of the Trinity River. Founded in 1831 as West Liberty, the community of approximately 9,058 was later renamed to honor early resident I. C. Day. Local public school students are zoned to the Dayton Independent School District and have access to nearby Lee College.
