About Dazey

Dazey is a quiet, tiny farming community in Barnes County, North Dakota, home to fewer than 100 residents. The town got its start in the railroad boom when playwright C. T. Dazey donated land to the Northern Pacific Railroad in exchange for naming the settlement after him. Today, it offers peaceful, wide-open rural living surrounded by prairie farmland, located about thirty miles northwest of Valley City.
