Delhi is a small, quiet community in northeast Iowa’s Delaware County, nestled right along the Maquoketa River. The town is best known for Lake Delhi, a nine-mile reservoir just down the road that serves as a regional hub for boating, fishing, and summer getaways. Highway 38 runs right through town, offering an easy drive to nearby Manchester or Dubuque, and local students attend classes within the Maquoketa Valley school district.

Waterfront living and outdoor recreation define much of the local lifestyle. The lake community is exceptionally tight-knit, having rallied together to rebuild the dam and fully restore the lakefront after historic flooding in 2010.
