About DeMotte

DeMotte is a town in Keener Township, Jasper County, Indiana, situated along U.S. Route 231. Developed in the 1880s as a station on the New York Central Railroad and celebrated for its annual Touch of Dutch festival in August, the community of approximately 4,234 is served by the Kankakee Valley School Corporation for public education.
