Doraville, GA

Doraville is a DeKalb County city northeast of Atlanta, incorporated in 1871. For years it was strongly associated with the GM Assembly Plant, and since that plant closed the city has leaned on small and mid-sized businesses, redevelopment, and its position along Atlanta's immigrant commercial corridors. Honeysuckle Park gives it a local recreation point, while MARTA access and Buford Highway shape the broader feel. Doraville feels diverse, busy, and unpolished in a useful way, very much part of metro Atlanta.
