Dubois, IN

Dubois is an unincorporated town and census-designated place in Dubois County, with its center divided between Marion and Harbison townships and the CDP reaching east into Columbia Township. It was platted in 1885 and took the county’s name, giving the community a direct connection to the larger southern Indiana landscape. Jasper, the county seat, lies about ten miles southwest, so county business and services are part of the normal pattern of life here.

The local library branch ties Dubois into the Jasper-Dubois County Public Library system, while Patoka Lake and the Patoka River shape the broader setting.
