Eagle Bend, MS

Eagle Bend is a quiet, tight-knit waterfront community tucked along the eastern shore of Eagle Lake, about 30 miles northwest of Vicksburg. Life here revolves around the water, which formed when an old loop of the Mississippi River was cut off generations ago. Today, the lake draws locals and newcomers alike for excellent crappie fishing, boating, and scenic porch views across the water. With around 300 residents, it offers an easygoing, secluded rural lifestyle that feels far removed from the daily grind while keeping city amenities within a half-hour drive.
