East Bernstadt, KY

East Bernstadt is a quiet community in northern Laurel County, located just a few minutes northwest of London along Route 25. Founded in the late nineteenth century by Swiss immigrants and later shaped by the regional coal boom, it remains a relaxed, close-knit place to live with around 800 residents. Local kids attend the independent K–8 school right in town before heading to Laurel County schools for high school. Sitting just off Interstate 75, it gives you the feel of peaceful country living with London's shops, dining, and everyday conveniences right down the road.
