East Brady occupies the east side of a bend in the Allegheny River in Clarion County, with Pennsylvania Route 68 crossing the river at the borough's bridge. The borough's name recalls Captain Samuel Brady, who fought Native Americans at this location, and the river bend shaped the settlement as a crossing and river town.
