East Galesburg, IL

East Galesburg is a village in Knox County, Illinois, just east of Galesburg in the western Illinois prairie. The 2020 census counted 763 residents. It is part of the Galesburg micropolitan area, with nearby Galesburg providing the larger employment, shopping, and school connections. Farm roads and the village boundary make East Galesburg feel like a small settlement beside a much bigger railroad town. Its local map is mostly residential streets and roads running west into Galesburg and east into farm country.
