About Elma

Elma is a city in Grays Harbor County, Washington, situated in the Chehalis River valley. Named for Union soldier Elmer Brown and incorporated in 1888, the community of approximately 3,483 is served by the Elma School District for public primary and secondary education, which includes the local alternative high school.
