Elmwood sits along the Mississippi River in Jefferson Parish, just a short drive upriver from New Orleans. Home to around 5,500 residents, it serves as a central hub for the metro area, sitting right where the Huey P. Long Bridge crosses over to the West Bank. Clearview Parkway runs straight through town, making it easy to navigate between neighboring communities like Metairie, Harahan, and River Ridge or jump on the highway for an easy commute into the city.
