Elsie, NE

Elsie is a tiny village of about a hundred people set in the open farm country of southwestern Nebraska. Life here revolves around agriculture, with endless fields of corn and wheat and rolling pastures stretching out in every direction. Situated in Perkins County, Elsie is one of the few spots in Nebraska on Mountain Time. Because the town is so small, families head about fifteen minutes west to Grant for public schools and major services, but Elsie still maintains its own quiet rhythm and local post office.
