Emeryville, CA

Emeryville is a small East Bay city wedged between Berkeley, Oakland, and the San Francisco Bay. Its location near San Francisco, the Bay Bridge, UC Berkeley, and Silicon Valley has made it a compact employment center rather than just a residential suburb. Pixar Animation Studios, Peet's Coffee, Clif Bar, and other companies have helped define its modern identity. The city also carries a post-industrial feel, with Bay Street Emeryville, the Amtrak station, marina development, and old rail corridors layered into a very small footprint.
