Esko, MN

Just southwest of Duluth and right next to Cloquet, Esko is a quiet, close-knit community of about 2,000 residents. The area has deep Scandinavian roots, originally settled by Finnish and Norwegian families before taking its name from Alex Esko, who opened a general store here in 1919.
