Ethan, SD

Ethan is a quiet, tight-knit town of around 350 residents in southeastern South Dakota, sitting about ten miles south of Mitchell. Founded in 1883 and named after Revolutionary War leader Ethan Allen, the community grew up alongside the surrounding farmland and still holds onto its agricultural roots. Life here moves at an easy, comfortable pace, framed by wide-open fields and big prairie skies.
