Evant, TX

Evant is a town in Coryell and Hamilton counties in central Texas, United States. The 2020 census counted 455 residents. The Coryell County portion of Evant is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area. Evant was first a settlement called "Langford Cove", settled by Asa Langford and his family in 1855. Both Coryell and Hamilton counties are in the service area, defined by the Texas Education Code, of Central Texas College.
