About Fairburn
Fairburn is a south Fulton County city with railroad roots and a lively seasonal calling card. It grew along a rail line and became the county seat of Campbell County in 1871, before that county was later absorbed into Fulton. Fulton County Schools serves the city, and the Georgia Renaissance Festival brings visitors each spring. Fairburn feels like an older rail town on Atlanta's south side, now shaped by airport-area growth, logistics, new subdivisions, and a downtown that still gives the city its own center.
