About Fairview

Fairview is an east Portland-area city in Multnomah County, near the Columbia River and the Columbia Gorge gateway. Long before the modern city, Multnomah people lived in villages along the Columbia, including nearby Sauvie Island. Today Fairview is served by the Reynolds School District and sits between Gresham, Troutdale, Wood Village, and the river lowlands. It feels like a small suburban city with strong regional geography: freeways, wetlands, the Columbia, and Mount Hood views all close by.
