Farley, MO

Farley is a Platte County village along the Platte River, with 265 people at the 2020 census and a place inside the Kansas City metropolitan area. Missouri Route 45 runs about a mile north of the Platte–Missouri confluence, giving the village a direct road to a major river junction. A post office has served Farley since 1852, and the village takes its name from Joseph Farley, the original owner of the land. The setting is specific: Farley sits in the Platte bottoms, close to where the smaller river meets the Missouri.
