Farmers Branch sits right in the heart of the northwest Dallas suburbs, offering an easy commute in almost every direction. With Interstate 35E running through town and quick connections to I-635 and the Dallas North Tollway, you can easily reach downtown Dallas, the airport, or major job centers in Plano and Irving. While the city borders several busy highway corridors and commercial districts, the residential pockets stay surprisingly quiet. Much of the community activity centers around Valley View Lane, where you will find the local city offices, a light rail station, and extensive green spaces.

For shopping and dining, you are right next door to Addison’s bustling restaurant strip, as well as plenty of neighborhood retail along Josey Lane. If you want to skip the traffic, the DART Green Line stops right at Farmers Branch Station, providing a direct transit route to downtown Dallas, medical centers, and connecting lines across the region.
