Fayetteville is a historic village in the town of Manlius, Onondaga County, New York, operating as an eastern suburb of Syracuse. Named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette and first settled in 1792, the community of approximately 4,214 is served by the Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District for public primary and secondary education for local students.
