Ferron, UT

Ferron is a quiet, close-knit town of around 1,500 people tucked into Castle Valley in east-central Utah. Set along Ferron Creek, the community sits in a scenic stretch between the forested slopes of the Wasatch Plateau to the west and the rugged sandstone of the San Rafael Swell to the east. State Route 10 runs right through town, making it easy to connect with neighboring communities like Castle Dale while keeping daily life peaceful, rural, and unhurried.

The town was founded in the late 1870s by pioneering families who cleared the creek bottom to establish farms and ranches. That agricultural heritage still anchors the area today, complemented by incredible outdoor access right in the town's backyard, including boating and golfing at nearby Millsite State Park. It is a welcoming small town where neighbors look out for one another and the whole community turns out each September for the annual Peach Days festival.
