Flomaton, AL

Flomaton sits right along the Alabama-Florida state line in southern Escambia County, right next door to Century, Florida. The town originally got its name by blending Florida, Alabama, and "town." What began as a busy late-1800s railroad junction has grown into a peaceful, tight-knit community surrounded by south Alabama timberlands and rolling countryside. Major routes like U.S. 29 and U.S. 31 cross directly through town, making daily drives to nearby Brewton simple and putting the Pensacola coast within an hour's reach.
