Fort Dix, NJ

Fort Dix makes up the Army portion of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, located in Burlington County, New Jersey. First built during World War I to train and mobilize soldiers heading overseas, the post has grown into one of the nation's premier multi-service military installations. Today, Fort Dix keeps its distinct Army heritage while sharing a massive footprint with McGuire Air Force Base and Lakehurst Naval Air Station.
