Fort Lupton, CO

Fort Lupton is a southern Weld County city in Colorado's South Platte Valley. It is named for Lieutenant Lancaster Lupton, who built a trading post on Adobe Creek in 1838, and South Platte Valley Historical Park keeps that frontier history visible.
