About Fort Mitchell
Fort Mitchell is a home-rule city in Kenton County, Kentucky, situated within the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Developed on the site of one of seven Civil War fortifications built for the defense of Cincinnati, the town of approximately 8,700 was named for General Ormsby M. Mitchel. The community is home to the unique Vent Haven Museum, which is recognized as the world's only museum dedicated exclusively to the art of ventriloquism.
