Fox Chase, KY

Fox Chase is a quiet residential community in northern Bullitt County, sitting about sixteen miles south of downtown Louisville. For over a century, this land was a family farm owned by the Rogers family, who first settled the area in the 1850s. When subdivisions began popping up in the 1970s, the new neighborhood drew its name from the Chase family and the wild red foxes that used to roam the open pastures.

Today, Fox Chase functions as a peaceful bedroom community with easy access to Interstate 65 for quick commutes into the city. It officially incorporated in 1983 to preserve its small-town independence, and the neighborhood remains entirely residential. You will find quiet subdivision streets lined with single-family homes, shaded yards, and a relaxed, close-knit pace of living right on the outer edge of the Louisville metro.
