Frannie, WY

Frannie is a town in Big Horn and Park counties in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The 2020 census counted 145 residents. Frannie bills itself as the "Biggest little town in Wyoming". "Jack" Morris arrived in 1886 and established the Morris Ranch. Frannie has a public library, a branch of the Big Horn County Library System. Campuses include Rocky Mountain Elementary School and Rocky Mountain High School. That mix gives Frannie a clear local shape within Wyoming, with older layers still visible in current places. The local scoop is a place whose streets, landmarks, and institutions keep its earlier story close to the present. Frannie was along the wagon route between Billings, Montana and Lander, Wyoming. US Highway 310 is the main road through the town.
