Fromberg, MT

Set in south-central Montana's Clarks Fork Valley, Fromberg is a quiet community of roughly 400 residents. The town started as a railroad depot at the turn of the twentieth century and soon became known as the valley's fruit basket, thanks to its rich soil and sunny growing seasons. Today, historic orchards and open farmland surround the small downtown, giving the area a peaceful, rural character.

Life in Fromberg moves at an easy, relaxed pace. The Clarks Fork Yellowstone River flows right along the east edge of town, providing local fishing spots and scenic walking paths. Highway 310 makes it simple to commute north toward Laurel and Billings for work, shopping, and healthcare, while the town itself offers plenty of elbow room, quiet evenings, and views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
