About Fultondale
Fultondale is a northern Birmingham suburb in Jefferson County with roots as a mining town in the early 1900s. Today it is more visibly a retail and restaurant hub along the metro's north side, with many shops and chain businesses serving nearby communities. Black Creek Park gives the city a local outdoor center with trails, a senior center, ball facilities, and a dog park. The annual Barking at the Moon Festival adds a specific community note.
