Galatia is a village in Saline County, Illinois, in the United States. The 2020 census counted 827 residents. Galatia is named for Albert Gallatin. The village was established as a tobacco farming hub in the mid-1800s. The other three school districts are Eldorado, Harrisburg, and Carrier Mills.
