Gentry is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, located at the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 59 in the Ozark Mountains. Founded in 1894 along the Kansas City Southern Railroad under the name Orchard City, the community historically thrived as an apple-growing hub. Today the town lies near SWEPCO Lake, offering outdoor recreation alongside a business district. Local children attend public schools managed by the Gentry School District.
