Geyserville, CA

Geyserville is a small, easygoing community in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley. With fewer than a thousand residents, it offers a quiet rural pace right off Highway 128 and U.S. 101, putting neighboring Healdsburg and Santa Rosa within an easy drive. The town got its start in the mid-1800s, named for the geothermal steam vents discovered in the nearby Mayacamas Mountains, and grew steadily after the railroad arrived in the 1870s. Its classic wooden storefronts, local art installations, and backdrop of rolling hills give the main street an unmistakable, old-fashioned character.
