Gladewater, TX

Gladewater is a quiet northeast Texas town of around 6,000 residents, conveniently located right between Longview and Tyler. While it got its start as a railroad depot in the 1870s and grew rapidly during the 1930s East Texas oil boom, today it offers a peaceful, laid-back lifestyle surrounded by the Piney Woods. Its position at the crossroads of U.S. 80 and U.S. 271 makes for a simple commute to nearby job centers while keeping everyday life slow and affordable.

Downtown Gladewater earned the nickname "Antique Capital of East Texas" thanks to its walkable blocks of vintage shops, local cafes, and historic brick storefronts.
