Glassboro, NJ

Glassboro is a Gloucester County borough in South Jersey, best known today as the home of Rowan University. The school began as Glassboro State College in 1923, and much of the borough's recent identity and growth is tied to its evolution into a larger university. Glassboro still has an older small-town South Jersey base, but the campus gives it a college-town rhythm, with students, redevelopment, and local businesses shaping the center of town. It sits within reach of Philadelphia while keeping a distinct Rowan-centered character.
