Gloria Glens Park, OH

Gloria Glens Park is a Medina County village on the eastern shore of Chippewa Lake, Ohio's largest inland glacial lake. The village's formal name is Gloria Glens, but the longer name still appears in maps and local directories. Lake Road runs along the shoreline, with town hall at the center of the village's monthly council routine. The lake is not a backdrop here; it sets the street pattern, property lines, and much of the summer calendar. The village hall and pavilion also give neighbors places to gather through the year.

Medina County Park District is developing public access at the former Chippewa Lake amusement-park property, while the Chippewa Lake Historical Society is preparing a small museum and trailhead nearby. The old park operated from 1878 to 1978, so the shoreline carries layers of rides, dances, company picnics, and today's boating and photography.
