About Great Neck Plaza

Great Neck Plaza is a village on the Great Neck Peninsula in Nassau County, New York, situated on the North Shore of Long Island. Incorporated in 1930 within the Town of North Hempstead, the community of approximately 7,600 evolved from a farming settlement into a commuter town after the railroad arrived in 1866. Today, the village is a thriving commercial center and is served by the Great Neck Union Free School District.
