About Green

Green is a city in Summit County, south of Akron and north of Canton. It began as Green Township in 1809, when the area was still part of Stark County, and later grew into a suburban city with a mix of neighborhoods, commercial corridors, and open land. Boettler Park is one of its main civic spaces, and Singer Lake Bog adds a nature-preserve dimension to the city. Green's location near Akron-Canton Airport and major roads makes it a practical midpoint in the Akron-Canton area.
