Located along the Potomac River in Hampshire County, Green Spring is a quiet West Virginia community with only a couple hundred residents. It sits right where the river's North and South branches come together, giving the area a scenic, laid-back backdrop. A unique local fixture is the historic Oldtown Toll Bridge, a low-water wooden crossing from the 1930s that remains one of the country's few privately owned toll bridges, linking the town directly to Maryland.
