Green Valley, AZ

Green Valley is an unincorporated Pima County community south of Tucson, long associated with retirees and active-adult living. The Santa Rita Mountains form the main visual backdrop, while the Titan Missile Museum gives the area one of Arizona's more unusual historic attractions. Green Valley also has a practical economic side, including Freeport-McMoRan's nearby Sierrita mine and local retail and services. It is not a resort town exactly; it is a desert retirement and service community with mountain views, golf, thrift stores, and Tucson close enough for bigger-city needs.
