Greensburg is a historic city and the county seat of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, located thirty miles southeast of Pittsburgh in the Laurel Highlands. Named after Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene, the city of approximately 14,700 serves as the seat of the Catholic Diocese of Greensburg. The community is home to Seton Hill University and public schooling is administered by the Greensburg Salem School District.
