Gregory, OK

Gregory is a rural Rogers County community on U.S. 412, about three and a half miles northwest of Inola and east of the Verdigris River. It sits in the Inola area of northeastern Oklahoma, where the road grid runs through prairie, pasture, creek bottoms, and scattered homes. The wider region was once part of the Cherokee Nation's northeastern Oklahoma lands, and Rogers County's older history reaches back to Osage and Cherokee communities around the Three Forks of the Arkansas, Grand, and Verdigris rivers. Gregory has no incorporated town center; its place on the map comes from the highway and the county roads branching from it.

U.S. 412 does the heavy lifting here, carrying local trips toward Inola, Claremore, and the Tulsa region. Inola provides the nearest municipal services, school system, stores, and community events, while Rogers County handles the rural road and land-use framework around Gregory. Cattle pasture, hay fields, drainage channels, and the long sightlines of the prairie fill the spaces between houses. The community is small enough that its geography is mostly read through neighboring places, but Gregory still has a clear local shape: a highway settlement in the farming and ranching country east of the Verdigris.
