About Gun Club Estates
Gun Club Estates is a small census-designated place in Palm Beach County, tucked beside the southwest corner of Palm Beach International Airport. The 2020 census counted 816 residents. West Palm Beach Canal, Kirk Road, Gun Club Road, and Military Trail make the neighborhood's edges easy to trace, while airport traffic sets the nearby horizon. The name comes from the Palm Beach Gun Club, a skeet and target range that moved here from Palm Beach before the Korean War. By the mid-1950s, the gun-range ground was giving way to residential streets, but the old name stayed on the road signs.
Gun Club Cafe at Military Trail and Gun Club Road is one of the familiar local corners, and West Palm Beach sits just beyond the neighborhood grid. The airport is nearby, but this is still a residential street map. Gun Club Estates is a South Florida pocket with an unusual origin story: aviation, target shooting, canals, and suburban homes all sharing the same few blocks.
