About Palm Springs

Palm Springs is a Palm Beach County village west of Lake Worth Beach, not to be confused with the larger California resort city of the same name. Its origin traces to early 20th-century plans around Lake Worth and a proposed municipal country club and golf course. The Florida Legislature later approved a charter creating the village. Today Palm Springs is a dense, practical South Florida community near Lake Clarke Shores and West Palm Beach, with residential neighborhoods, local schools, shopping, and quick access to the broader Palm Beach County urban area.
